Recently I was able to preview a children’s story book titled Lynnette, Mynnette & Nynnette written by Grandpa Goody a Californian for his two grandchildren Cyrus and Zayne who are avid readers.
The story is an adventure of the three prettiest little chicks that are born into the Rooster family on the Sunshine Egg Farm to their proud parents Big Ben a rooster himself born in England and Mama Cluck herself a native Californian.
The story develops along the lines of various animals on the farm, who by the author’s writing skills become alive and get transformed into human like roles of day to day life on a farm with exciting happenings almost on a daily basis with antics by Lynnette, Mynnette and Nynnette whether its playing a game of cricket or flying a kite. Nynnette is particularly prone to injuries as being the youngest she is also the most adventurous.
One very funny event in Big Ben’s life describes how he escaped the clutches of a crazy restaurant cook who wanted to serve fresh chicken in his restaurant and how Big Ben was able to “Quack, quack” and pretend to be a duck, make an escape and save his life.
The story has various chapters and can be read to the child over several days and is suitable for ages 3 years and older. The kids will very easily be able to relate to the story as it brings everyday routines to life!
The book is in print and will be available by the end of the year. Thanks for your attention kids and moms!
